Computer Skills Applications I (6207):This course is designed to provide hands-on instruction in basic computer hardware components and software applications. Emphasis is placed on extending and reinforcing touch keying skills while providing experience for learning word processing, database, spreadsheet, graphics, multimedia, and telecommunications applications. Communication skills and basic mathematical concepts are reinforced in this course. Work-based learning strategies appropriate for this course are field trips and job shadowing. Simulations, projects, and teamwork, FBLA leadership activities, meetings, conferences, and competitions provide opportunities for application of instructional competencies.

Class Tutorials

I will be available for tutorials on Mondays and Thursdays in room 237 from 2:30 – 4:00 PM or by appointment.

In the event you are absent, you will have 5 days to turn in assignments or you will receive a grade of zero on the 6th day.

Special Note: If you are more than 45 minutes late, you are counted absent for that class period per Cochrane Collegiate Academy.
